That's close to what I suggested in my post to Zeev on 4/29....that perhaps shorts are covering here in large numbers.
However, I much prefer your speculation of smart money 'accumulating', since massive short covering would greatly diminish the fuel required to start a good rally. Guess time will tell. Needless to say, the last couple weeks have been surprisingly humbling.
