What's there to get excited about? I am just stating facts. Marvell gets very little respect and all I hear about is how great Broadcom is. Broadcom was rumored to replace Marvell with this holy grail wifi-bluetooth chip. Didn't happen. Broadcom was supposed to have won the gps socket in the 3g iphone and the teardown says that it's an infineon chip. The fast money guy goes on TV and says buy Broadcom as a better play than the iPhone because of the supposed design wins it had inside. Well it looks like it only now has the $1.50 chip inside. WOW!! That really looks like it's going to drive revenue. I'm frustrated because Marvell is a next generation company with great design wins now with RIMM and AAPL and no seems to care. What if Broadcom owned Xscale and had it's chip in every Blackberry and iPhone as well as all laptop hard drives with the future promise of emerging countries gourging on it's chips as the whole world goes digital. The stock would at least be a 40. But analyst continue to overlook Marvell and continue to upgrade Broadcom. For what, I don't get it. They don't have any chips in Blackberry, they only have Bluetooth at the moment, big whoop. Marvell makes the brains and baseband of the future generation products. What's to get excited about?
