zit -- Saddam's Iraq had no WMDs or meaningful ongoing WMD programs, had nothing to do with 9/11 or supporting al Qaida, and was fully contained and posed no threat either to us or to its neighbors -- this whole mess rests solely and entirely on dubya, Halliburton-boy, rummy, asscrack and the rest of the lying blundering neocons in the administration (and their arrogant anti-democratic patrons/handlers who tell them what to do) -- you can keep on trying to spin things and turn things inside out (I'm being charitable here) till your head either flies off or explodes -- but that's the truth of the situation -- none of this was necessary or appropriate, and none of it would have happened/be continuing if dubya hadn't taken us into Iraq -- for that alone (where, of course, there's plenty more), dubya and the rest of them richly deserve the scorn and criticism that they are receiving, and to be rudely and decisively thrown out of office and power come November
I've meant it each time I've said that I wished dubya and crew were doing some sort of reasonably OK job -- I'd be spending a lot more time following IDCC and doing other things I'd honestly rather be doing, instead of being as genuinely concerned as I am about this damned election -- but dubya and crew have been an utter disaster across the board, and I've had it with them
