Alan Thicke to Appear at Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (HYBR.OB) Headquarters August 15
Hybrid Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB: HYBR), an emerging leader in the development and marketing of lithium-powered products worldwide, is extremely proud to have Emmy and Golden Globe nominee, Alan Thicke, as a special guest participating at their North Carolina research facility.
The Canadian-born actor and musician won fame through his role as Jason Seaver, a stay-at-home dad on the ABC television series Growing Pains (1985-92), which was translated into eight languages and broadcast from China to Spain. His reputation for integrity stems from this portrayal, and resulted in his being honored in 2007 as the Canadian Performer of the Year.
Thicke, who refers to himself as a “Baby Boomer consumer”, admits he has been part of the problem surrounding vehicle use and global warming, and now wants to be part of the solution. Hybrid Technologies, with its lithium-powered electric vehicles, provides that opportunity by delivering a vehicle that reduces emissions and eliminates fuel costs without sacrificing luxury – a vehicle which Thicke feels sets a wonderful example for his kids.
Hybrid Technologies, whose website asks one to imagine a world where people live responsibly, was incorporated in Nevada in 2000 and continues to strive toward longer battery life and greater performance for their electric vehicles, including the LiV™ FLASH, which Thicke will be using to promote Hybrid Technologies’ efforts.
The LiV™ FLASH is Hybrid’s all-electric version of the BMW Mini Cooper, and one example of a technology that can be applied to a number of transportation modes, including bicycles, mopeds, motorcycles and even residential alternative energy storage.
Using the LiV™ FLASH, Thicke will work with Hybrid Technologies to advance the cause of environmentally-friendly modes of transportation. The media is invited to attend this event, scheduled for August 15 at Hybrid Technologies’ headquarters in North Carolina. Thicke will use his appearance as a spokesperson for the company to learn about the proper use and maintenance of the all-electric LiV™ FLASH that Hybrid is providing for his use.
