Hmmm. Seems more like a bare bones and short range survival strategy rather than a forward looking strategy to me, but, survival obviously has benefits, and if the effort now enables any sort of profitability anytime soon, that will be a second clear strategic advantage which XJT could build upon later...
being largely debt free and profitable would certainly make them unique relative to competitors.

Still, my short term interest is in the market dynamics and how the market responds to the changes matters more than what I think of them... I'm not convinced yet that there are any fundamentals that matter in trading these shares. I think the shares will trade based wholly on market movement and not on any real measure of valuation... at least until we're seeing something like twice what we have for a share price here. So, for now I think it still about the debt issues and deal risk. When that is disposed of as an issue and the dilution, or whatever, is done... then we can perhaps begin to think about value in a deal, again...
