What happened was that Groves and He left and according to US copyright law, employees paid for services have no claim on the products they were paid to produce. So it was logical for Paul to expect that these guys would be charged with criminal offenses.
The position is logical right up until the point that Logicbox LLC was created a suddenly this becomes a civil case.
Unfortunately, the legal system in this country tends to drag things out and put money in the pockets of Lawyers. I can tell you this for an absolute fact, since I am involved in the legal system every single day.
So I don't think Paul was off base there, perhaps he doesn't have a lot of experience with the judicial process, I consider that a plus. Meaning, if he were, it would indicate that he was involved in this kind of legal process before. I think this was an unfortunate first for him.
Why should someone expect that when you give someone a job, they would stab you in the back and steal from you the work, that you have rightfully compensated them for? They had stock benefits that they forfeited at a time the company was doing quite well in terms of share price.
I think Paul is rightfully pissed off at these individuals for holding up progress, and I think he is not sitting around waiting.
That is the reason for the rewrites, and that is the reason for delays. The company is moving forward despite one monkey wrench after another, and for that I give them credit. Paul still has a few tricks up his sleeve.
All In my opinion.
