A-Rod has other things on his mind...
NEW YORK — Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez and his wife, Cynthia, are separated, the New York Post reported on Thursday.
The news comes less than three months after the birth of their second child and amid reports the slugger has been seen visiting Madonna's apartment and his wife has been spending time with singer Lenny Kravitz.
The Rodriguezes have two children, Natasha, 3, and Ella, who was born on April 21.
The Post reported Cynthia Rodriguez, 34, was in Paris this week visiting Grammy-winner Kravitz, 44.
Madonna's publicist denied the star is having an affair with A-Rod, 32. The Material Mom reportedly has been having relationship problems of her own and recent stories have said she and husband, British director Guy Ritchie, have been shopping around for divorce lawyers.
"We do know that Guy Ritchie, who is still married to Madonna, did make a last-minute bid to save that marriage," Robin Leach, host of "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous," told FOX News on Thursday.
When asked on Tuesday if he had any comment on the allegations, A-Rod said "no."
Rodriguez went 2-for-3 Wednesday night with his 17th homer of the season and also scored four times in the Bombers' 18-7 trouncing of the Texas Rangers. It was Rodriguez's 535th homer, moving him past Jimmie Foxx for 14th on the career list and just one homerun behind Mickey Mantle.
Madonna, Kravitz and Rodriguez are managed by Guy Oseary, whose other clients include magician David Blaine and "American Idol" star Katherine McPhee, FOXNews.com columnist Roger Friedman reported.
Citing dismal album sales and slower-than-expected concert ticket sales, Friedman linked Madonna's resurgence in the media to a clever public relations campaign.
"Not only does Madonna have a lot riding on her fall tour, but Ritchie has directed a feature film, called 'RocknRolla,' due from Warner Bros. on Oct. 31. After numerous flops, Guy needs a hit."
