That's the point, and that's why using one atrocity to justify another is so problematic, even freightening. Imagine what atrocities could be justified using the Holocaust. Every small child is taught two wrongs don't make a right. And I thought, as Americans, we were supposed to be better than that. Another irony is that we use Saddam's atrocities as justification for pre-emptive strike. Yet we completely ignore other, currently ongoing, grotesque atrocities.
