Sacrificing- was instituted by God himself.

We mentioned this last night actually.

It was the Lords choosing the steps in which mankind had to take in order to be temporarily justified by Himself.

Why?
Probably to get people to sin A LITTLE LESS, YA KNOW.

If...we today REALIZED we had to slit an innocent animals throat FOR OUR WICKED SIN >>> we might RE THINK everytime we go to sin, ya know? <<<

So...not only was sin WICKED back then, but THEY KNEW IT WOULD COST THE LIFE OF A SLAUGHTERED ANIMAL.

Today, sadly =( we as believers forget about this factor when sinning against an Holy God- and the price paid for us.

Exd 12:23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

THOSE WHOM REJECTED *Gods ways found out the hardest way.

***An interesting point for your heart to- to take heart in.

Your Spirit inside...may start checking your own undestanding as to the significance the Sealing of the Spirit holds in the new testament IN RELATION TO THAT OF THE OLD.

You have previous conditionary understandings of the old/new being the same.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE DISCOVER THE OLD TESTAMENT NEVER SPOKE OF THE SEALING.....your view of the new testament, MAY CHANGE AS WELL.

***For now, we shall deal with the old. Amen.
