Here is my original post that started all of this and it was in answer to Digi who was wondering why Laidlaw was sucking up $60,000 per month. If you had read it you would have realized that I said PR statements are useless in dealing with the state and the the application for permits - read below:
This period of time where applications have to be filed with FSEC, the NHDES, and ISO-NE is a very expensive time. As you say "things are moving along JUST fine". This may or may not be true but what up until this time costs have not been that great for any of the applicants, just PR, web pages and so forth. Now they are going to have to plank down hard cash because FSEC and NHDES are going to want to see real plans not PR statements. This applies to Laidlaw, Noble and Clean Power.
Digi asked why $60,000 a month was being used and I was mearly trying to tell him why....Also if you think anyone has this project in their back pocket you're living in a dream world. There are all sorts of hurdles that have to be crossed before this becomes a reality for anyone. PR statements mean didily squat.
