I assume you are talking about gasoline?

If so demand is off a whopping 1.5% to 2%, what little we conserve is being gobbled up by the BRIC nationsand producing nations.

You can blame this on our failed leadership, this is what happens when you don't allow drilling and expect other countries to supply you.

CONgress thinks suing OPEC is the answer, well OPEC and Libya answered yesterday by saying they may find it necessary to curtail supply.

Couple days ago Obama made remarks that the oil sands developements in Canada may not be in line with his approach to energy developement due to environmental concerns. Alberta responded yesterday with they may have to find other nations to buy their product.

Today the BLM announced a moratorium on all new solar farm installations due to concerns over environmental effects, it may take them 2 years to complete, So I guess that is the signal for no solar farms.

We have let a few environut legislate us into a corner, that is now being reflected in price of product.

Depletion is real and will only increase as world wide demand is soaring.

As a resident of Louisiana I think we should refuse to send any of our product to any state that restricts drilling either on land or offshore, that might help get the message across.

We need a comphrehensive energy policy utilizing all forms of energy production and everywhere with NO off limit signs, inceasing MPG of our transportation fleet as a start.

None of the above will reduce the cost of gasoline significantly, due to time lag and increasing demand from the rest of the developing world.

Fan.
