Let's define meaning in parts: A well-regulated militia (regulated pertaining to ORGANIZED not government regulations like liberals want you to think, and "militia" is any able bodied man of fighting age) Necessary for a free state (meaning NECCESSARY for FREEDOM in life) The right of the PEOPLE (the entire Constitution refers to "people" as individuals / citizens) To keep and bear arms (meaning keep as in OWN and bear means CARRY) Shall not be infringed (means shall not be tampered / touched / changed / removed / ended - period!)
