Hi CM,

That's pretty much how my husband feels: that treating her for the psychosis and allowing her mind to clear enough to profoundly feel the horror of what she's done may well be more punishment than death.

The euthanasia thing I'm not sure I follow, though. I usually think of that term when applied to the elderly infirm who've given prior notice that they would prefer death to a prolonged vegetative state.
