Siri: I agree that they might allow him to go a little higher, maybe another 5%. But at some point it may not be in the best interests of the other shareholders since he will have too much control over a sale, etc.

On your point about Kirk buying up all the shares that are being shorted, I believe that the Form 4 filed today may confirm that fact. If you look at the details of the purchases, he bought in about 30 lots (total of 741,000 shares). The price started at $5.93 and went down to $5.51. Each time he bought, he bought at at lower price. Now, normally when you buy that kink of volume in a thinly traded stock, you are going to pay higher and higher prices. So what happened here? Either, the shorts were trying desperately to lower the price, or some large shareholder was unloading and Kirk was taking advantage. Anyway, for all the longs, when the largest shareholder (who, I understand, knows something about successful biotech companies!) keeps buying, we have to feel pretty darn good about the future of this Company.
