but if you short it ALL the way down, and cover ALL the way back up, you're not making any money. and it's not worth the risk. there's got to be some spread for him to cover. unless he wants to finagle the # of shares at shorted at certain prices with his # of shares bought to cover. and that's still a lot of effort for what might not be much gain.
