BLDV Belise operation Update!! :BLDV has till mid-august 2008 to finalise all deals and starts its operations on the Belise acquired land!!
In previous post i have estimated june 22 but reality is mid-August
2008
WHY?
"Belize Financial Secretary Joe Waight says that the company is expected to pay for the land once the necessary land surveys are completed and the Government prepares the title. The land transfer should take 6 to 8 weeks, and if the company does not materially commence its operations in a year, the Government will reacquire the property, he added."
they will pay for the land after 6 to 8 weeks from june 22 agreement ( the signing date )so the payment should have occured by mid-august 2007(the final agreement day) and the Government will reaquire the property in a year from mid- august 2007 if BLDV does not starts its operations on the land and that would be mid-august 2008.
imo Quincey is finalising everything now cause he has a deadline to meet before mid-august 2008 with the Government of Belise and has to start the operation on the land before mid-august 2008 and that explains all the volume activity last week and buys on Friday/monday of last week in the range of 700,000$$
somebody close to them know that they are done with things and about to Go public soon !
News must be very close if the Co will start working on the land on Mid-august and all deals(reverse-merger,US co acquisition) should be finalised by then!!

Blue Diamond Ventures, Inc., the Texas-based company that recently signed a land purchase agreement with the Government of Belize for 180 acres of the former Lynam premises in Stann Creek, announced today that it has formed a strategic alliance with Texas A&M University.
The company says that the prestigious university will provide technical assistance for its project in Belize. The Texas Agricultural Experiments Station (TAES) has an agreement with Blue Diamond Ventures. TAES has ongoing bio-fuel projects, the enterprise that Blue Diamond plans to undertake down south.
“Recognized as having one of the leading and largest biological and agricultural engineering departments in the country, the university will assist Blue Diamond with the production and conversion of non-food crops for manufacturing bio-fuels,” Blue Diamond says via a press release issued today.
The company explains that bio-diesel is alternative fuel made from renewable resources, including vegetable oils such as soybean, canola, rapeseed, palm; animal fats such as chicken or lard; or waste cooking oil reacted with methanol. It can be used in its pure form, and it can also be blended with petroleum-based diesel.
“We will be producing a product in accordance with international fuel standards, and this requires having the best minds and most efficient technology to achieve our goals,” said Blue Diamond chief executive officer John Quincey Moaning. “We are delighted to have one of the country’s leading bio-fuels institutions as a partner.”
In the last edition of Amandala, we reported that Blue Diamond Ventures had also signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in agriculture, education, training, and research and development with the Government of Belize, after sealing the BZ$900,000 land deal.
Belize Financial Secretary Joe Waight says that the company is expected to pay for the land once the necessary land surveys are completed and the Government prepares the title. The land transfer should take 6 to 8 weeks, and if the company does not materially commence its operations in a year, the Government will reacquire the property, he added.
Since last year, Blue Diamond Ventures has been making its plans for its Belize operations widely known in the international press. They will begin with a small-scale bio-diesel pilot project, but plan to reach eventual capacity of 50-100 million gallons per year.
Prime Minister Said Musa, who signed the agreement with Blue Diamond on behalf of the Government of Belize, said that his government is fully committed to the project and to the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly sources of fuel.
i hope it helps
best regards
