It started in 1783, by a Norwegian named Hans Offmicock. He was building his house on the coast near Bergen when he stuck oil! Not knowing what the black substance was he tried to burn it with fire, only adding to the problem. 'The Great Fire' spout as the locals called it burned into the sky for weeks...

Needless to say Hans was asked to leave, heading for London where he gained employment as a cobbler he could get his mind of the black substance... years later in 1802 he emigrated to the United States to make his fortune... He lived in NY, and eventually made his way to Ohio. There he met Mary Vonclitorious who he fell in love with and married... His son Fredrick Offmicock eventually grew up to be mayor of the town and changed his name (as many immigrants did) to Williams to fit in with the American public.

Before you know it Fred had sons, Henry and Stanley who would both listen to Grandpa Hans tales of that back substance that burned.

These two entrepreneurs set forth for the West after fighting in the Civil War to try and find this 'oil'. Along the way there were many adventures, and ultimately they failed... However they wrote down the secret location of where they believed there may be oil in Oklahoma and passed this knowledge down through the generations...

Thus we come to modern times where MMTE, having absolutely nothing to do with the Offmicock family, is beginning to drill on that land that Hans dreamed of 200 years ago...

How do I know this? My name is Hans Williams, a descendant of the Offmicocks and if they find oil I will lay claim to it!!!
