I think you are missing his point, which I take to be that
the market cap reflects a lack of insight--because most
owners lack both the industry and the information to obtain
it--whereas a suitor would have made a more thorough study
of the matter, being better resourced and more highly
motivated to weigh our prospects with sober care and in detail.
