Ameritrade told me that they contacted the transfer agent to determine the delivery date of my dividend shares..

Teri Norgrove (new president of MDRG) suggested that I "hold them (WPMLF shares) for long term investment, give them as a gift for tax write off, or sell them when/if there is a market".

How could I use them as a tax write off if my cost basis is $0?
