Sometime last year a hot penny stock was exposed as a scam when the CEO got to bold and PR'd a fictitous contract with Home Land Security. This company past itself off as an Information Technology Security source. The websight just looked liked it sold various flash drives and some other stuff. I can't remember the name of the company, the sybol or the CEO. The false PR caused the feds to leap into action. They raided the offices and hauled the CEO away. Pictures of the mug shot were all over the chat boards. I would hope that VC is not stupid enough to pull the same stunt.
