head, certainly, if the USPTO doesn't validate the patents, it's end of story even with the possibility of appeal - who's gonna wait that long? But why would you say that about the Quanta case? Assuming Quanta has any bearing at all - and there's plenty of debate about that (see CenturyCom's post 9106) - either TPL/PTSC continues to go after manufacturers AND users, or TPL/PTSC goes after manufacturers OR users. Granted, it's probably more complicated than that but why do you think Quanta represents an all-or-nothing scenario?
