Pearl Asian Mining Industries Inc. announced today a Special Corporate Resolution in which by unanimous decision of the Corporate Board held on August 5, 2004 in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, WESTERN PACIFIC MINERALS Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PRMN is to be spun-off to its shareholders of record on September 31, 2004. WESTERN PACIFIC MINERALS Ltd currently holds 49 silver mining claims located in the Slocan Creek Region of British Columbia, Canada.

Pearl Asian considers this process positive and potentially a profitable opportunity benefiting each shareholder of PRMN. Shareholders will receive 1 share of WESTERN PACIFIC MINERALS Ltd as a distribution for each share of PRMN held on September 31, 2004.
