Actually Per.C6 (and my namesake)are perfectly capable of expressing monoclonal antibodies. In fact the press release I included in my original post which trumpeted 15gm/L is with a monoclonal antibody. I am not aware of anyone trying this cell line with plasma proteins but given the success Per.C6 has handling the complexity of a monoclonal (multiple disulfide bonds, correct folding and assembly of two seperate chains)I see no reason a priori that it can't handle these too
