So quitting cold turkey is better? I wonder what the results would be if they conducted a randomized trial with survival as the endpoint, comparing Chantix to quitting cold turkey. Make sure to use "intent to treat analysis" for both arms, so those who intend to quit cold turkey but don't get counted.
