That's a ridiculous statement. I have seen numerous advantages.

1. Go to a person's profile page and click the number next to their Total Posts. That list of the person's posts is BRAND NEW. You can sort it by board, by chronology or by total posts.

2. The favorites tabs might not be a benefit to you, but it is to "anyone" - namely anyone who has a ton of favorite boards, people and links.

3. The ability to increase the font size so that you don't have use a magnifying glass all the time is a huge advantage.

4. I'm sure the speed is faster (apart from bugs). It's fast for me either way, but Bob explains why: "With the new language, Favorites is already machine code. The time-consuming steps of reading code line by line, checking for correct syntax, and converting to machine code (millions of times per day, mind you) are skipped because all of this is done one time rather than every time any user goes to the page."

And, you can be sure - in light of the continual proactive effort by admin to improve the site - that more features are on the way.
