Please tell me what cost you are referring to.

As I understand it, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, posting fraudulent financial statements would cause management to be subject to criminal charges.

I do not depend upon unaudited statements to give an exact financial status of a company, however they are invaluable in determining trends and making analysis.
