Jim, thanks, but that would be going against my "grain", now, if I was playing the "dark side", fine, but since I think that TLT is , fo now, in a secular down trend, and since I play only the long side, it is not a good candidate for me. It has a nce yield though, and I may look at it to replace some of my fixed income stuff. I'll have to study the paperwork in more details.

One strategy that comes to mind is buying the equity and keep writing covered options, I guess one could probably get another 4 to 5% per year raising the yield to 9% to 10%. not too shabby for "safe fixed income".
