Actually, Cortex moved aggressively to inlicense the RD rights from Univ of Alberta/Greer soon after they became aware of them. This was long before the FDA's final nix to CX-717/ADHD last Fall. Of course CX-717 had been in serious trouble for ~18 months due to the clinical hold, so it was only prudent to grab the RD rights quickly, and before anyone else could get them. As it turned, getting those rights saved the day for the company when the final ax fell on CX-717/ADHD. Stoll showed tremendous foresight, and it paid off.
