It's probably selfish, but I hope a lot of people sell their dividends. The price isn't going down much more. I'm not selling at this point.

Buy them up now, and see what happens when the error is discovered.

Or maybe there was a change of plans and the dividend shares are not supposed to be restricted, even though that's not what the company stated.
