Majestic Troubles! 26-Apr-08 01:00 pm Read the earth shattering press release a few months back and starting following this stock. Born and raised in that part of Montana - Still have friends that live there. Called today to see what the progress was on the "The Well" - WOW!!. Turns out this wildcat is not so wildcat. Majestic offset a well that was drilled in the 80's. They drilled about 1300' away from it. (Check the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Web Page) Majestic did apparently find a third zone the the other well did not have. They moved a small rig on and completed it and found nothing but water in the well. Apparently Majestic is trying to hurry up and drill an "offset" well as fast as they can in hopes this one will have oil in it. (Keep looking at the Montana Board of Oil and Gas Web page for well permits in Pondera County) It makes sense. You make a press release that you have a 100 Bbl/day well and then nothing. Espically with oil at all time highs. This just smells all wrong.
