True; Berinert is a very old drug and pasteurization was the best they could do in those days.

Incidentally, differences in the plasma-fractionation processes used to extract Berinert and Cinryze could account for some difference in half-life, but I would expect any such difference to be very small. That’s why I presume that the ~20% difference in half-life comes from the pasteurization.
