Subsea development of Chevron's Jack and St Malo unfolding 2008.05.06 - Field Development
Today at OTC, Chevron's Randall Kubota said to subsea industry sources that a FEED study for the subsea development of Jack and St Malo ultra-deep discoveries in the Gulf of Mexico will start in the near future. Kubota is Chevrons subsea general manager. The development concept is not yet determined, but it is likely to included significant scope of subsea equipment, possible including HIPPS for pipeline protection.
Jack and St. Malo deepwater discoveries are located in Walker Ridge in Gulf of Mexico.
