11:51AM Nasdaq Composite extends rally on break of 20/50 day averages (COMPX) 2025 +29: -- Update -- -- Technical -- The index was able to spike to a new session high on short covering/program buying following the breach of its 20 day exp/50 day simple averages at 2010. The rebound in the key Semi Index (see 10:59 update) off support has also underpinned. It has recently edged to another new high for the day with initial resistance at 2027 followed by the high for the week at 2032. Intraday support is at 2016 in front of the averages.
