Just because some of my particular screens to weed out potential weeds keep me from investing in certain places(like DPDW) does not mean they aren't potentially rewarding. But honestly, if I look at everything around DPDW outside my screens I still see tremendous risk but that is just the way it feels to me only (there are several areas I have of concern, mostly related to the financials).
Considering many here have a lot of experience with the products side it is definitely worth balancing some of that in there as well to offset the negative. I have read all the product descriptions in the 10K but am not familiar with their particular respects in the field with customers (the 10K makes things sound good, but I would want to know what both customers and competitors think of the products).
But for me I tend to only look at the products after I see the financials are within my thoughts of reason.
They deifnitely have a deeply experienced team in this biz space but also a marginal history of success with this method of growing a company. I don't have a probelm with people defending their positions with DD, I respect and encourage it. It enlightens the whole discussion. Thanx for not taking this as a bash or anything. I'm just trying to discuss things and hopefully have everyone get a bit more rounded opinion of things. Everyone can take it how they want. And hopefully all will learn some (including me of course). That's the point of posting for me...
