Steve, Sorry to see you and others taking a bath on gold like this. I stayed out of gold this go around and stuck with my QQQ's trade. I have traded miners once before and felt like I got lucky. I'm just not really savvy with the gold and other commodities and I did not know what the inflation/interest rate pressure would do. Seems like it could have gone either way.

Looks like the NDX is trying to get back up, hopefully that is good news for you, although it isn't for me. I refuse to go long on it right now.

And Texas, it was a good place for a young couple to be. Low cost of living and no state income tax (although property taxes seemed kind of high), combined with good decisions, allowed us to get much farther ahead than we might otherwise have been. Still, I think the prettiest view of Texas was that in the rear-view mirror of the U-haul darkened only by the fact that I was crossing into Louisiana. <g>
