adjpublic, welcome to the board! Indeed, DDI is involved in a lot of service/installation type work. In fact, until some time last year, their revenues were 60% from services and 40% from products. That may have started to shift in the last few months as they have broadened their product offering. Well, actually, come to think of it, these products give DDI more opportunities for service and installation revenue IMO. Historically one of the core strengths of DDI has been installation/commissioning/decommissioning of oil fields, pipelines, umbilicals etc. They also do recovery of equipment etc .
