I think the key here is that ONLY Intel has the capability to produce MID/Smart Phone x86-based chips, at a low cost, performance, power, etc. AMD even said on their last call they may need to sell this part of their business...so its seems their strategy is all about integrated graphics, which is a loser strategy for many reasons. I believe in chess they use the term 'checkmate', which may be applicable to the Intel vs AMD battle...

I'm personally seeing the momentum with MID type devices. Several of my friends/colleagues refuse to dish out $500 for an iPhone because they want more business functionality in addition to mobility. They'll buy a MID.
