I bought into a development company that supposedly stated they were going to get 100M dollar contract which has never come. The last PRs are verifying that it is a development company. They get a 225k contract for more university testing. Then followed by a small sample size for evaluations. I have been in industry and we never released PRs stating that we delivered evaluation samples to GM. The reason is evaluation/engineering samples would not produce P.Os for production for at least 3 yrs at best. This is a now a 09/10 play. When a company talks about a 100M order you expect them to be a commerical company not a development company. Everything is pointing to a change in their story. Unfortuantely mangement is the one that released these PRs and now it sounds like people are making excuses for them. The volume shows there is not much interest in the company. They will have show now at least 3 - 4 qtrs in a row to with increasing earnings to get interest from funds and the big money. They still have not put numbers on the table showing they can sell anything. Just talk and nice words. Good salesmen never talk about what they think they can get they talk about their successes.
I was trained by one of the guys that was in the begining of the semi business in its infancy. He taught me the most important thing any man every taught me and I used in when every I sold to companies. It was YOU HAVE TO Know THE CAST OF CHARACTERS YOU ARE WORKING WITH AND WHAT IS DRIVING THEM.
Good management knows the cast of characters they are working with and knows what is driving them. I guess some management does now the cast of characters they are working with and what is driving them. Think about it.
