From Jan. 2, 1999 through March 20, 2000 there were two unfilled gaps on the NDX. They got filled in April 2000.

This gap action is extraordinary.

During 1998 the NDX had 4-gaps open at one point, but anytime a 4th gap formed, it filled within 2-weeks. The 3rd gap remained open for 6-months until the dump in the fall of 1998.

5 open gaps is very strange going back 10-years on the NDX. 3 is the norm, and 4 lasts only a couple weeks typically.
