I haven't sold a share since initiating in November, as the LTCG rates this year are incredibly favorable. IMO, we have ample reason to expect additional gains.
The extent of my trading on fluctuations has been to write deep out-of-the-money January calls ($30) and buy them back cheaper.
The downside is, of course, capping the upside and/or having the calls exercised prematurely (which can be mitigated by immediately re-buying the shares on the same day, if you don't use FIFO). However, this strategy has locked in minor short-term profits while preserving the LTCG status of my underlying shares.
