Buck,

I have never heard anything like this before.

This friggin thing chirped almost continuously last night all night long. I am not convinced it's a nighingale. I found a site on the internet that had some nightingale recordings. They are more melodious. This is a steady repetitive chirp that never seems to change in pitch, only slightly in rhythm.

I am going to watch for it tonight just before dark. If I can find it, it won't chirp tonight.
