Options Wonderland

I am new to options and just trying to learn and understand them.

Do you guys just stick to the higher priced well known names like GOOG and AAPL, or do you trade a wide variety of stocks?

If wide variety, is there a min price you play above - i.e. only stocks over $10.00 that have at least 1 million daily volume, etc?
