Fwiw, I work as an adjunct at a local college. The board is very Republican -- believe it or not. Administrative positions are political positions, and altho I am not a big McCain fan, I keep politics out of my content -- and my discussion with other faculty and administrators. The so-called "war on science" is a political issue that might be relevant, but even that has not been included any of our discussions. And when dealing with administrators, I am politically neutral -- and would not speak ill of any candidate, especially McCain. Likewise, fwiw, Corzine has been elevated to "most hated person" on campus and among faculty -- for financial reasons. When one is teaching history or polisci, all views should be welcome.
