Your good humored story about the post-tequila party had me laughing. Make sure you mention that to your colleague from time to time over the years. Whatever beneficial effects the research on lifespan enhancing drugs produces, we can be certain the effects of tequila will cancel them out :)
While I'd like to think (as an investor -- and given I'm working an overnight tonight, a rapidly aging one at that . . .) that your optimism on the promise of these agents will be rewarded, I can't help but remain skeptical a bit longer.
Strong work on the PGNX -- not only some European regulatory love, some after-hours FDA approval as well. From $5.26 to after hours trading >$12 is some strong work that should allow further GTCB purchases before GTCB does something similar.
I'd like to say I have a stable of favorites, but between clincal/research/new fellowship creation/2 young kids, I've limited myself to fairly compelling plays like GTCB at present. Will be happy to look further into some of your suggestions as I get the chance. Purely sponsored by this board's discussions, a number of DNDN options at exactly the right time last year were the best investment of my life (something like 500% gain in a week :) -- would that that happened more than once a decade.
