Petrobras was the company that PEMEX initially contacted for assistance in getting to the deep water oil off Mexico's coast. As you know, PBR declined the offer to merely use their technology and not share in the booty.

I believe that PBR has the advantage of all foreign companies in that they are located in Latin America, which, in my opinion, will make it much easier for the Mexicans to finally swallow the "we have to share the oil" pill to get the oil that they can't do on our own.

FT has a relationship with PBR and if I'm right we'll be in on the exploration and development.
