ok, so lets continue the exchange of questions. why were creditors paid with 5,010,000 shares of TRPH if they have no value, and cease to exist? then the court just gave worthless shares that cease to exist to pay off a debt.

why would the court do that?

the news says that it allowed the liabilities to be cleared off to allow the merger to occur without any liabilities being acquired.

get it? they got shares, to cancel the debt.
so if the shares of Tripath had no value, why did the court negotiate the settlement of debt with tripath shares?
