well the thing about a roll-up strategy is that everyone wants to get in on the deal early and take equity as their stake. as long as growth is well managed, shares become the most powerful currency, and momentum makes growth the path of least resistance. as you say, pretty soon companies start lining up to become a part of the story, and as the word gets out, wall street wants to get its piece, too.
look at so many other companies in the oil industry that have had the same road to success. DR and TB have seen this movie before, and they love the way it ends. jmho.
