"Butler, 54, is chairman and owner of Intercoastal Terminal, Inc., a terminal facility in Texas City, TX. Formerly, he served as president and chief executive officer of Weatherford Weatherford, city (1990 pop. 14,804), seat of Parker co., N central Tex.; inc. 1856. It is in a fertile region that yields peanuts, watermelons, and peaches. Oil-field and electronic equipment are manufactured. Fort Wolters, a major helicopter center, is nearby. International, Inc., now Weatherford Enterra, Inc., an energy and manufacturing company which provides specialized service equipment to the oil and gas industry. Under Butler's guidance, Weatherford grew from a $10 million regional oil service company in 1979 into one of the largest oil service equipment companies in the world with annual revenues of $250 million by 1991."
