one interesting thing about that cleared land -- i had thought they'd use it to bring FT to their own campus, but when i spoke to robert chamberlain i asked him if that was the plan. it turns out they want to keep FT exactly where it is. they don't want to uproot the people who work there in maine, and to me that makes great sense. it also will cut down considerably on our integration costs for that deal. jmho.
so..... what is the clearing for? probably some other type of expansion we are not aware of just yet. i'm merely speculating, but that's what makes the most sense to me.
