Slide to Launch New Applications on MySpace
Slide's FunWall, SuperPoke, Other Apps Join Already Popular Slideshow on World's Largest Social Network
Slide, the world's largest personal media company, today announced that it will launch several new applications, including Slide FunWall and Slide SuperPoke, on MySpace, the world's most popular social network. Slide was able to easily build, test and deploy the applications on MySpace's recently announced Developer Platform (http://developer.myspace.com).

Slide helped kick off the MySpace Developer Platform program last night during an event held for developers at the MySpace San Francisco office. Slide was among several companies that gave demonstrations of applications currently under development.

The MySpace Developer Platform will be rolled out in March 2008 to users in the MySpace Application Gallery. Members will be able to add Slide applications, including FunWall and SuperPoke, to both their home and profile pages.

"We're very excited about the MySpace Developer Platform; it's a huge opportunity for us to more directly engage with the MySpace community," said Max Levchin, CEO of Slide. "We're really looking forward to introducing new applications and features that will help members better express themselves and communicate with their friends."

As with all MySpace Developer Platform applications, FunWall and SuperPoke will be able to safely access publically available profile information, including a user's friend list, interests, photos & albums, video, as well as status & mood. Slide applications will have real estate in five places within MySpace including:

-- A MySpace application profile (users can "friend" the apps)
-- Access to embed applications on the user homepage (inward facing --
for you to see)
-- Access to embed applications on profiles (outward facing widget -- for
friends to see)
-- An application gallery listing
-- A canvas page

"MySpace has always had a relationship with the developer community, and today marks an evolution in our relationship," said Kyle Brinkman, vice president and GM, MySpace Developer Platform. "The launch of our developer platform reinforces our commitment to this community. We look forward to the unique and engaging applications that the MySpace Developer Platform will inspire."
